The Reverse Twist Blood Knot is an effective knot for joining two lines and follows the same principle of the blood knot. It works well with monofilament, light lines and some super lines. Well worth learning and sim[ly increasing wraps from four to eight on either side of the knot, depending on line thickness, will reduce slippage and strengthen the knots holding powers. Should be used with caution with finer super lines.

RULE 3: When tightening the knot, do so gently but firmly. Do not draw the knot quickly as this can generate heat damaging the line. Give a few test pulls on the newly tied knot.
RULE 4: If you are not happy with a knot, always re-tie it until you are satisfied. Remember that a knot is effectively the weakest link between you and the fish.
