No, it does not work. At least not when I tried it. Also, this defies the whole idea of how these things work. A remote sends PULSES!!! It also does so much quicker than a normal person could blink a light. I'm sorry but unless you prove me otherwise, I do not believe this.

read this about the video: "A remote control sends out a series of digital IR pulse codes which are programmed specificly to trigger different functions on the television. You would have a better chance of sending a fax by singing happy birthday over the phone. Ill post that one next week!"

and this from creator Sam Noyoun: "The disk from a floppy... filters natural light, and only let's through infrared light... So in effect, what you are doing, is making an infrared LED."

It doesn't work, what is wrong with it why doesn't it work? this is stupid I bet none of his stuff works.
